Landon's Pictures

Well, sadly, it's safe to say that Landon doesn't need his own photography blog. Much to the dismay of this photo taking Mama most of the 129 pictures I uploaded to our computer from the camera of our 3 year old son were blurry beyond recognition! Here are the few that were recognizable.

Birthday Boy!

So how'd we spend Landon's 3rd birthday you ask?

I asked him this morning what he wanted to do for his "Happy Birthday." The only things he asked to do were "Go see Auntie Amy" and "Play on the toys at McDonalds." You got it big guy!

Auntie and Uncle met us at McDonald's for ~~a disgusting~~ dinner. They got Landon the neatest birthday present. His very own digital camera! The camera is made for kids aged 3 and older and is built tough and is even water proof! I KNEW he would have a blast with the camera because he is always trying to get his hands on my camera.

After we ate at McDonald's, then let the kids play, we walked across the parking lot to the store and let Landon pick out his own birthday cake. We got him one of the mini cakes, and thankfully he didn't pick the hot pink one, LOL!

He was VERY excited to get home and eat cake, his new favorite food!~

After we had cake, Daddy and Uncle Nate went to the gym so Mama made ice cream cones for myself and the kids~

am I the only one who finds that sentence funny? Daddy goes to the gym, Mama has ice cream...blah!

Landon got the hang of his camera quickly and Brynne was his best subject. He kept setting down his ice cream so he could take pictures. He took pics of everything! The camera holds up to 1000 pictures. I am going to give him a few days and then download them all and see what we've got! Maybe Landon will need his own photography blog! Check out that photo stance!~

My boy is 3!!!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our big 3 year old!

Landon has brought SO much joy to our lives and I am so blessed to call him my little man. I can't believe this year went by so fast for us, WOW...he is already 3.

Landon has such a love for life and such a spark about his personality. He is funny, sweet, stubborn, smart, curious, mischievous, thoughtful, active, loud, and athletic. He is rarely without a smile or a funny comment. He LOVES his sister so deeply and hardly ever leaves her side. The friendship Landon and Brynne share is amazing and I can only hope that they will remain the best of friends as they grow.

Landon changed so much this year and became a 'big boy' right before our eyes. He is so helpful and wants to learn about everything. He follows daddy and I around constantly asking "why?" "how come?" "when?" "where?" He knows what he wants and will try to talk his way out of anything. He loves to spend time with family and our friends and is becoming more comfortable with people and definitely more social with his friends.

Landon is 3!

He weighs 31 lbs.

He is 37.5" tall

He loves trucks, planes, trains, cars, tractors, dirt bikes, squirt guns (cert guns if he's talking) and baseball.

He loves Mickey Mouse and Handy Manny.

He goes to bed at 8:30p and is awake by 7am each morning.

He takes one nap a day lasting 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

He loves to go bye-bye and play outside, he is rarely in the house.

He rides a bike and a scooter, can throw a baseball pretty accurately, and loves to sing and dance.

He likes tools and figuring out how things work.

He loves to be chased and tickled, loves to jump and do flips.

He loves to eat hamburgers, corn dogs, chicken, cereal, pudding, crackers, Popsicles, CAKE, fruit and veggies.

He drinks milk all day every day.

His closest friends are Matthew McCarty and Logan Lorranty (the son of one of my work friends).

He loves the movies Finding Nemo, Mary Poppins, Robin Hood, Mulan, and Cars.

He doesn't watch TV really and makes it through only about 20 minutes of any of the movies mentioned above.

Landon LOVES Auntie Amy and Uncle Nate, Myna (my mom) and PopPop (my dad), and talks about them all constantly!

He squeals loudly when a helicopter flies overhead or a firetruck drives by.

He is most definitely, 100 %, without a doubt ALL BOY!

And we love this boy more than words can express! I am so proud of the boy we are raising and LOVE him with all my heart. I never want to imagine our life without him!!

Thank you Landon for making me a Mama, and thank you for making Dad a Daddy, and thank you for making Brynnie a little sister and for being such an amazing son and a loving, sweet (most of the time) big brother.
