Lizard Hunt

Our morning started out nice enough, with a little playtime in the backyard~

and a friendly ride from big brother, in his truck~

It takes Brynne about 5 minutes to get into the truck, but she wants NO help, and does it all on her own~


SEE!? Such a big girl~


Then she began calling for Landon, to drive her around~

Big Brother to the rescue~

Hold on Brynnie!!~

There they go!~

THEN, big brothers thoughts were elsewhere as he began his morning lizard hunt!~

This disgusting little thing comes out every morning to torture, and then run from, the kids. Landon has been trying to 'touch' this lizard for weeks now. The lizard is pretty tame and won't run unless the kids get very close...

Even Brynne helps Landon try to find the lizard and his hiding spot~

THERE HE IS Landon!!~

"Where? Lemme see Brynne"

Landon thought he would get a better view from the roof of the playhouse!~

Brynne took up shelter inside as Landon went on his 'lizard hunt.'

I tried to take a video of the kids lizard hunting, because they seriously do this every morning. Brynne always dances around and squeals with delight...all over a lizard?! Poor girl, she heading right towards the unfamiliar land of TomBoyVille! You can see the lizard in the begining of the video, until 'TomBoy Brynne' runs up and scares him into hiding!

These two crack me up. I guess that's what country kids get all excited about! Lizards, yuck!
